Mitsubishi alarm lookups: servo, inverter or PLC?
Mitsubishi Electric shows its codes differently on each product: AL. numbers like AL.16 on a MELSERVO servo amplifier, E. codes like E.OC1 on an FR inverter, and four-digit error codes like 6503 in an FX PLC's error registers. Find the unit that shows the code, then open its lookup.
Pick the unit that shows the code
Each lookup lists the codes from Mitsubishi's own manuals, with what each one means, the likely causes and the first checks, and links the manual it comes from.
| Lookup | Where you see the code | On the page |
|---|---|---|
| Mitsubishi MELSERVO Alarm Codes | MELSERVO servo amplifier, AL. code on the amplifier display | 43 codes, for example AL.10 Undervoltage, AL.12 Memory error 1, AL.13 Clock error |
| Mitsubishi FR Inverter Alarm Codes | FR series inverters (D700, E700, A700, E800), E. code on the operation panel | 71 codes, for example E.OC1 Overcurrent trip during acceleration, E.OV3 Regenerative overvoltage trip during deceleration or stop, E.THM Motor overload trip |
| Mitsubishi FX PLC Error Codes | FX3U, FX3G, FX3S and FX5U PLCs, ERROR LED and the D8060 to D8069 registers | 84 codes, for example 6503 Syntax error: No setting value after OUT T or OUT C, 6501 Syntax error: Incorrect combination of instruction, device symbol and device number, 6504 Syntax error: Same label number is used more than once |

Log the code, not just the stop
Write down the code with the unit it came from and the minutes lost, every time. Two numbers a week (how often each code fires and what it costs) turn "that alarm comes up sometimes" into a ranked list, and the free OEE tracker turns the week into a downtime Pareto. An alarm number tells you what the unit detected, not what happened at the machine in the seconds before: Fabrico's camera-based OEE software syncs camera video with machine data, so you can replay the moment the machine stopped next to the alarm.
See the moment the machine stopped
Fabrico, a light MES with computer vision, syncs camera footage with machine and timeline data, so you can replay the exact moment a machine stopped and review the cause next to its alarm. Cameras also catch short stops and a line that is switched on but not producing, the losses nobody writes down. Machines connect through a PLC, a Fabrico IoT device or an AI camera.
